This chef client is known to make pasta aglio e olio with shrimp, crab cakes, fish tacos, white pizza, and shepard's pie among other dishes. Her kitchen needed to have clean crisp lines, modern professional grade appliances and work efficiently for food preparation. She decided on character grade walnut floors to give the kitchen a warm feel. While the unique quartz pattern within the granite tops as well as the blue decorative flourishes were chosen as a bold contrast to the white of the cabinets and subway tile. The chef also wanted a place to not only prepare food but to keep an eye on her favorite show, the Food Network or a football or basketball game while creating her gourmet meals. A special place to display her bright colored glassware and a cafe table to have a coffee with her husband was a must. All this detail is a back drop for the Autumn when it's time for apple and pumpkin and pecan pies; and for the Spring when it's lemon meringue tartelettes and keylime pie season.
