David grew up in a converted barn in Haverford, PA that his parents had retrofitted to be their family home. David spent much of his childhood drawing, painting, photographing and writing about the neighborhoods and landscapes of the Philadelphia suburbs and the Jersey Shore.

David is a graduate of The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. While at CUA, David studied and sketched in Europe and the Pacific NW. David has a broad range of experience in architectural design, construction documentation and construction observation.

Having designed many coastal residences, David has a wealth of experience in high-wind and flood zone design. David also brings a strong knowledge of both the zoning issues and low-maintenance long-lasting materials for coastal communities.
